We believe in God; One God that we know and experience as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God has always existed and is the Creator of all creation. [Genesis 1&2, John 1:1-18, Matthew 28:19]
We believe in Jesus Christ; God the Son, co-equal with the Father, and the only way to the Father. Jesus came from the Father full of grace and truth, lived a sinless life, and then gave His life as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all humanity. Jesus then rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return one day and reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. [Isaiah 53, Luke 2, John 1:1-18, 1 Timothy 6:13-16]
We believe in Holy Spirit; the eternal Spirit of God, co-equal with Father and Son. Holy Spirit was generously poured out on the day of Pentecost and dwells (or lives) within individual believers as well as the community of believers. Holy Spirit moves us to Jesus for salvation that comes through Jesus Christ alone. He gifts us, guides us, empowers us, and releases us in ways that are otherwise not possible. He continues to reveal God’s truth and God’s will, and will not contradict Scripture – God’s written word. [Genesis 12, John 14:25-26, John 16:13-15, Acts 2, Romans 8, 1 Corinthians 12, Galatians 5]

We accept scripture as instructive and authoritative for our daily lives, and use scripture as the source of what we teach.

We accept God’s call to attend to the needs of those who hurt, beginning with needs within the fellowship and then beyond.
Praise
We accept the privilege of giving glory to God in corporate as well as private worship.
Blaze
We accept Paul’s challenge to Timothy to “fan into flame the gift of God… for God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:6-7).
We believe God has given us His written word in Scripture, the Bible. While the Bible was penned by human authors, what they wrote was under the supernatural guidance of Holy Spirit. We acknowledge Biblical authority and integrity as the standard for what we preach, teach and live by. Traditions, culture, personal experience and all other influences are to be tested and corrected by what we see in Scripture. [Matthew 5:17, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Peter 3:14-16]
We believe that human beings were created in the image of God, but unlike God we have all been compromised by sin – missing the mark of perfection. We are people with incredible potential and promise, but that potential and promise need to be redeemed. [Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 3:23, Galatians 3:13]
We believe God’s answer to restoring that potential and promise is salvation that comes through Jesus Christ alone; all we have to do is accept this free gift on God’s terms. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. God accepts us right where we are, sets us free from sin, and gives us life. [John 14:6-7, Romans 5:15-17, Acts 4:12]
We believe God has gifted the church body with apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers so that the church body is built up and equipped to carry out the ministry of Christ. [Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Corinthians 12:27-31]
We believe that God alone is eternal, and that people were created to live forever. The end of life on this earth is not the end of our existence. We will either live forever united with God in heaven, or we will be forever separated from God in hell. [John 3:16-18, John 14:1-3, Romans 6:22-23, Revelation 20:15]
