Christ in You, the Hope of Glory Recap
Christ in You, the Hope of Glory
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. [Colossians 1:27]
Welcome to our 2020 theme here at Dayspring! It’s really the next step after spending 2019 focusing on God Inside You is Greater.
So much is written now about how to view ourselves. How should I think about me? Some of us were taught that lifting up Christ could only be done well if we thought lowly of ourselves. Christian humility equaled disliking ourselves. Now, many hear voices shouting that we can’t love others unless we learn to first love ourselves.
Our theme verse for 2020 speaks Biblical truth that if we are a Christian, Christ is in us. So one crucial way Christians are to look at ourselves is, “I am a carrier of God’s glory.”
This is for you. Don’t race by.
Believer, you are a Carrier of God’s Glory.
That’s a game changer. That impacts your work. It impacts your role in your home. It impacts the “chance” meetings you’ll have today. Might God be calling you to pray this prayer every day in 2020 before you get out of bed: “God appoint me to show your glory to someone today.”?
Oh God, let this be a year of……….Celebration……….Multiplication……….Glory Revealed……….!
